Ulrika Sandén is a social worker, a brain cancer survivor, motorcycle driver and since 2016 a doctoral student at Lund University, Department of Design Sciences. ...and I want to live is her debut book, sold in several editions. The book is a true story addressing relational issues when a deadly disease enters. She now works as a doctoral student at Lund University trying to implement old arcti c survival strategies, called Momentary contentment, in Swedish cancer care. In 2015 she got the Swedish Sociology Associati on’s award for best article, based on the Momentary contentment study.
